Yeah, I know... Saturday Night Live sucks, isn't funny, was only funny when I was young, yada yada yada...
Still, this one nailed it.
Millennials lose everything to Boomers on this game show.
I loved the song about Baby Boomers. Perfect!
All very true... Then why are you posting SNL garbage here? And no, I didn't look at it first. I didn't need to. I couldn't care less that they pulled their heads out of their asses for two seconds. Their body of work goes before them and they don't deserve any respect from anyone here.
“Maybe you can tweet about it. That will solve everything”
Lol, Burn!
Thanks for sharing.
SNL is like a recent Rolling Stones album. Not the band they used to be but they still get it right on one or two songs.
That WAS funny!
Seems like the writers have been mugged by reality but refuse to press charges, i.e. theyll still be bashing trump next week
bfl
This was moderately funny, but it was basically one joke, that the millenials just can’t stop themselves from being outraged when someone normal speaks. I thought it might be a game show where millenials showed how little they know in a battle with baby boomers. Like, their answer to a question, “When was the US Constitution ratified” would be, “The US is fascist and had slavery”. Buzzz, wrong, Boomers: “1789, Chuck”.
That actually was funny. I enjoyed it for a change.
Naw.
Premise was the liberal young people are right.
I actually laughed.
Of course they left out the part where boomers went to work anywhere between 12 and 18 and continued to work all their lives and didn’t buy on credit.

Boomers didn’t buy on credit?????????
Nonsense.
.
Helicopter parent Boomers wouldn't let their kids get jobs in high school. "You've got extracurricular activities! Volunteer work! SAT practice! Your priorities are to prepare for college!"
All those entry-level jobs Gen-X'ers like myself had in high school have now been taken over by immigrants, retired Boomers, Millennial college graduates, and robots.
Nope. I didnt think it was funny. Born at the right time? Really? I did benefit from having a stay at home mom, 50s dads didnt think their wives should work. My generation didnt have a lot of choice. I worked for 40 years and PAID INTO SOCIAL SECURITY! I would be ok if they would just give me back what I paid in, BUT THEYVE SPENT IT! I wish I were only angry with the Dems, but the Pubbies have been just as irresponsible. There are jobs out there! Sadly, some Millennials think the available jobs are beneath them. I wish my generation would have been so lucky.
"How can you have a skit without mentioning Trump? YOU'RE NORMALIZING HIM!!!"
I actually went to work at 14. When I finished school and started in my career, the longest stretch I didnt work was a couple of months (various moves and non paid pregnancy time off). Im tired now.
Put me down in the category of thinking SNL can be as funny as it ever was. Hilarious.
Sam, really, SNL has ALWAYS been like this. You always have to wade through stupid skits to get to any good ones. Only 20-30% of the show is any good on a GOOD NIGHT/SEASON.
Norm MacDonald: When the people here asked me to do the show, Ive got to say, I felt kind of weird. I dont know if you remember this, but I used to actually be on this show. I used to do the Weekend Update news routine, you remember that? Thats where I did the make-believe news jokes. That was me, you know? So then, a year and a half ago, I had sort of a disagreement with the management at NBC. I wanted to keep my job. Right? And they felt the exact opposite. They fired me because they said that I wasnt funny. Now, with most jobs, I could have had a hell of a lawsuit on my hands for that, but see, this is a comedy show. So, they got me. But, now, this is the weird part, its only a year and a half later, and now, they ask me to host the show. So I wondered, how did I go from being not funny enough to be even allowed in the building, to being so funny that Im now hosting the show? How did I suddenly get so goddamn funny?! It was inexplicable to me, because, lets face it, a year and a half is not enough time for a dude to learn how to be funny! Then it occurred to me, I havent gotten funnier, the show has gotten really bad! So, yeah, Im funny compared to, you know, what youll see later. Okay, so lets recap, the bad news is: Im still not funny. The good news is: The show blows! Alright, folks, weve got a great show for you tonight! Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggie Dogg and Eminem are here. Well be right back!
