A group of men aboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise ship got banned from the cruise line for life, after one of them jumped from the 11th floor of the ship while it was docked in the Bahamas.
Nick Naydev, 27, of Vancouver, Wash., took to his Instagram on Friday to post a video of himself jumping off of his rooms balcony from the Symphony of the Seas ship into the ocean. The video, which was recorded by his friend Konstantin Kryachun, captures the men standing on the balcony and laughing as Naydev gets ready to take the leap. In midair, Naydev begins to flail his limbs before he ultimately hits the water.

Drunk Russians who got bored not making dashcam videos?
Why couldn’t be just eat a Tide pod like a regular idiot?
They should have book a Carnival cruise, that sort of behavior is encouraged. /s
Or that it wasn't on the side of the ship the pier was on.
Wow, no more Celebrity or Azamara Club Cruises, either.
At least he can still sail on all the serious party cruise lines owned by Carnival, on which he should have originally been.
He should try the Golden Gate Bridge next. That’s a popular high point for many jumpers.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
He tells Yahoo Lifestyle that he and his friends didnt even consider the consequences prior to the jump, they just captured it in a bid for viral fame.
Hes an imbecile.
27 going on 17. I would/could never do this, but I know such people who like taking wild risks. The difference is that they would not do this to a Cruise Line, and scare the crew half to death. That’s very inconsiderate and self centered.
There was a parody of the board game Monopoly that was made for millennials and it made one interesting point that stuck with me - Obama’s economy taught that generation that they could live without the material possessions most generations aspire to. No need to own a house or a car. They can rent close to their employment (if they work at all) and use a bicycle or Uber to get wherever they want.
Instead of owning cool things, they are all about having cool experiences which is why they manage to afford trips and cruises and take selfies of themselves everywhere for the experience rather than to save up for a house or a “rainy day”. They expect Mommy and Daddy or the Government to pay for all their needs so the money they make is for pleasure - including living far above their means so they can signal their friends on Facebook about how well they live.
Stunts on cruise ships so they can release videos of themselves is a sign of their culture - it’s all about the experience, about piling up “likes”. It’s narcissism at it’s peak perhaps because they were taught in schools that there is no God and they only have 10 years to live due to climate change.
He’s trying to win the Darwin Award.
They should have waited til they were out to sea to ban them from the boat, then they could really achieve internet fame as they jump off in the middle of the Atlantic.
That had to hurt.
The lines to get off the ship can get pretty long.
This is one major reason why we no longer show streakers at football games on TV (which my brother did once, when his alma mater was in a nationally televised bowl game).
“That had to hurt”
If he had his legs spread open, he’s probably singing a different tune.
Good for you
