What’s not to like? Free TV, better choice of programs.
Reality: very much range and line of sight limited.
I tried the super duper digital OTA antenna, good for 75 miles (we are 53 as the crow flies) and got zero channels.
Returned it to Best Buy. GEEKSQUAD guy said they got a LOT of returns on them.

Besides being free, how are the programs on broadcast television any better than cable?
Outfits like H&I and METV are great for Boomers. If tou can deal with the ads for catheters, final disposition insurance, and Consumer Cellular you can get a pretty good movie selection on Movies, ThisTV, and Grit which are available as digital add ons. The only things I really use fios for is sports.
and real 1080p reception for sports and documentaries. Cable and satellite must compress their signal.
