If I or mine were assaulted, I would have killed them. Shocking? Maybe. But I don’t give a damn how old they are if they are threatening my family.
I probably would have an alternative exit too but if not, whatever. I’m not on this planet to discipline other peoples kids either but I’m also not here to look the other way or find an alternative exit.

We have no idea how this escalated but I do see a grown adult pushing kids and kids pushing the grown adult, whatever happened first, which is not on video, the adult is required to be the adult. Take your wife and kid(s), and either go back into the mall, or go around this group. Its that simple. Being rambo and start sucker punching 11 year old kids isn’t the answer. You honestly have zero concept of the legal use of force and when you can escalate that force. This was not self defense by any legal standard. That is why the adult was arrested and the child was not. Think about it. Please do. Cause, I don’t want to see arrest report/video of you going rambo on some kid

That is not your decision if you go to jail or not. The officer doesn’t offer you a choice in that matter. If they believe you are the aggressor in the situation, and if you were the adult in that video that is posted here, you would be going to jail for that assault. Your tough girl attitude with the cops isn’t going to keep you out of jail. If anything it will make them want to take you to jail.
