i often get us mail flyers offering cash for my home.

the people all seem (no exceptions) to be white anglo saxon married couples.

i personally know of exactly zero white anglo saxon couples with enough money to buy my home.

so who are these white anglo saxon couples with money to burn and who just happen to take interest in buying my home??

> and that girl you’re propositioning is a man <

Quick story: A friend of mine was visiting another city, and decided to drive downtown for a little “companionship”. Well, he found a street girl, made a deal, and the girl got into his car.

Just then a cop appeared, and tapped on the driver’s side window. My friend rolled his window down.

Cop: “Get out of the car, Larry.”
My friend: “Uh, my name isn’t Larry.”
Cop: “But his name is.”

Does any country out side the US allow the COC to buy up real estate?

During the Obama Traitor times , we attended two engineering graduations and my Relative in Military Intel sat next to me and kept whispering about all the Chinese probably spies graduating at these Universities .
He knew by looking at the Grad write up and the degree .

It was two hair raising events .

Its still going on .

You don’t know the right white anglo-saxon people, clearly. In Nashville you can’t swing a cat without hitting one with 100 million bucks.

My plan was to go into retirement debt free. So I paid cash for my present home. No biggy.

“We pay cash for houses. We pay cash for everything.”

Ditto for us. Cash for everything. We lived well below our means; saved, saved, saved. The thought of having a debt is terrifying.

Terek and Christina El Moussa - probably not Anglo-Saxon - did it all the time on HGTV - bought up homes at low prices and then flipped them for nice profits - usually - of course, they were divorced a few years ago, so technically they're not a couple any more......

Yes. Some cultures are more trained from youth through adulthood to do things in unison.

Duh! What kind of question is that to ask. Seems obvious to me. People with cash.

My wife and I bought some homes in Arizona with cash for investment (rental) properties by leveraging the equity in our own home and equities in some of the rentals. We bought them ourselves directly and not through realtors.

We needed retirement funds and something to write-off once our kids left home. Uncle Sam was taking a big hunk of our income every year in taxes. So we decided to go into the property investment and management business on the side. We did quite well for ourselves.

At one point we owned 10 rentals, all of them free and clear. We paid the mortgages off on most of them be selling some of the rentals we had purchased that had appreciated. We managed the properties ourselves instead of hiring a property manager. We got burnt a couple of times by bad renters not paying but I learned quickly how to get them kicked out quickly without too much trouble or expense.

We got out of most of them (sold them) before the market cooled down in 2008 when the stock market took a dive and the housing crisis hit. We got stuck with a couple of them that we lost money on but did real well on the rest of them. Put money in the bank for retirement.

We weren't rich or didn't win the lottery but by leveraging our homes, we increased the number of them. Then paid them off and accumulated wealth that we now have in the bank for our reserve retirement funds. We had a lot of fun doing it too.

We are retired now and live comfortably on a 30 acre cattle ranch in Florida. And we still own several free and clear investment homes, one here in Florida near our farm, one in South Carolina near the beach in Pawleys Island and one still in Tempe, Arizona near Arizona State University.

It might seem odd, but I’ve very much liked all of the Chinese and Chinese-American people I’ve met. Some of the attributes of their culture are really admirable and awesome. Empire is another matter, though. The history of empire is a long timeline of cruelty and sadness, and some cultures are rather tuned in to feeling more comfortable with empire.

You will all love this one.

I don't make a habit of defending HG, but I think he's funnin' you here.

“Welcome to the internet, where men are men, women are pretending to be men, and that girl you’re propositioning is a man.”
_________________________________________________________

After watching that TV show “To Catch a Predator” a number of years ago, one got the impression that the majority of 13-year old and 14-year old girls on the Internet are apparently male police officers in their 30’s and 40’s.
