No harm, no foul. The Model 3 appears to be a better car than the S or X, but regardless, the Model 3 sales have been cannibalizing the S and X sales. It will be a lonnnnng time before I can get another car, and I'm pretty sure it'll be a similar interval before Tesla makes the base model 3 (the ones they've been shipping have been tricked out).

Very interesting, thank you. Wondering why the size of the huge “air dam” front is not addressed in this article........perhaps because the truck has a standard engine and the frontal area is required for the engine, radiator, etc.

The 700 bar tanks in the GLC F-CELL are about 10,000 psi, so they store about 1/7th the energy of an equivalent volume of gasoline. If you grant an electric powerpack three times the efficiency of an IC powerpack, the 4 liter tanks store about the same propulsion energy as 3*4/7 liters of gasoline, about a half gallon. Three minutes fill time per half gallon ain't a very good fill rate, and a half gallons of equivalent fuel range gives you "range anxiety" quickly.

I will add, though, the GLC F-CELL is a good start. I won't buy one, though, quite yet.
