The Pentagon is making preparations in the event of President Donald Trump ordering the military to build the southern wall, a defense official has said. Trump recently hinted that he might take this course of action in the light of an impasse in negotiations with Democrats resulting in the government shutdown.

I stated teaching at Keesler in '86 and spent 12 years stuck there before I retired...went back for another 15 Civil Service and retired for good in 2014. Was in a few morphs of comm maintenance and network security as times and technology changed...most work was for the "Agencies" that got too much power and secrecy....

Mississippi was a bit different for me too - big change from Rochester, NY and from some of the places I was stationed but it became home....had offers in Tennessee and such but wife hates cold so we opted to stay put as long as we could keep bacon on the table.
Before my time - I was in Tech School at Sheppard AFB for most of ‘75 and was out in the field maintaining Comm Center equip for the next 11 years before I was dumped at Keesler.
