Ugly man. I don’t have the great body I had at 25. But it’s calling women of a certain age invisible that I find most offensive.
But it true.
I remember Sue Hubble discussing this in her book about Bee keeping. I read it in my mid thirties.
She spoke about once a woman is over a certain age men do not register them as present or women to really see. She talked about the freedom of being invisible.
Years later, as attractive as I am, I see the difference in the male response when I walk into a restaurant or store. It is nothing bad,it is just different. Men are attracted to young women. They do not see the older one. I imagine there is an biological issue here.
