In high school there was a pocket protector type who in retrospect was on the spectrum. Always wore a suit and carried a briefcase.
Was not able to socialize.
He was teased and I suspect worse.
A fellow classmate was complaining because at the 10th class reunion invite, he told the class that they made his life a hell and he would never want to spend any time wasted on him.
My fellow classmate was so angry with him, good leftist that she was, that he would be such a downer. No insight into how much she did to cause him hell.
I know - people think bullying is a new thing somehow, and I know it’s worse with social media. But I clearly remember bullying of some students who were different - but maybe they were different because of the bullying? I don’t know - I just know of children these days who changed suddenly, and that’s what I’m talking about. Children who were normal and then not after vaccinations.
