A veteran news reporter has quit NBC, accusing the network of pushing anti-Trump, pro-war propaganda. William M. Arkin accused the new outlet of having an "infatuation" with the "Trump circus," claiming it leads to journalists ignoring real stories as they push to turn Americans against their president. Arkin, a seasoned national security reporter, made the revelations in a biting farewell message to his colleagues.

Did anyone actually read the letter? Not exactly pro-Trump (”Of course he is an ignorant and incompetent impostor.”)

Not exactly pro-Trump No indeed. Mr. Arkin is well-known as a critic of U.S. military deployments in general and has a certain tendency toward the reflexive in his own politics. Nevertheless, he's spot on with regard to the corruption of the FBI and the ludicrous knee-jerk media opposition to Trump's intention to withdraw U.S. military personnel in the Middle East.
It is telling that he had to detail this in a resignation letter instead of his normal capacity as a news reporter. The truth appears to be that he has come to the realization many of us reached years ago: that the media are an integral part of the machine we refer to as Deep State and have prostituted themselves to power no less than the FBI and the intelligence agencies have. This isn't about Trump at all.
