There is a world of difference to the government using a search warrant to get call information from a service provider and a hacker getting in and finding specific call data among billions of calls. You really don’t know what you’re talking about. You seem to be equating monitoring with a hacker breaking into the cellular networks. It ain’t the way it works. . . This ain’t Hollywood. Such set-up is done internally at the carrier and there are safeguards built in. The government can’t just tap in when it wants. The carrier must set it up for each tap.
