Personally I like a Samsung phone. One of the reasons is that it has a genuine keyboard.

You can buy it unlocked here:

Check with your wireless provider whether they will accept unlocked phones and whether they will help you set it up.

My provider is AT&T and n their website they said they will.

I am about to get the phone above, because someone dropped my phone I had for a long time and I need a new one.

Chicken, don’t listen to him. That phone he’s recommending is a seven year old obsolete model Samsung Galaxy Appeal I827 GSM 3G that will not even work with 4G or LTE networks, it has only a 320x480 pixel 3.2 inch screen that is smaller than the 2007 original iphone’s 3.5’ screen. . . and comes with 4GB of memory and a pathetic processor. That’s less memory than even that original iphone’s 5GB in an era when modern phones are pushing 256GB and even 512GB. It comes with Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) . . . and I doubt that could handle today’s standard internet browsing protocols and I sincerely doubt it could be updated.
