Just when we thought politicians in California couldn't get any more horrible, Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom proved us wrong. Apparently the reason he was absent from Cpl. Singh's funeral yesterday was because he was too busy watching the Sacramento Kings play basketball.

Cpl. Ronil Singh, the officer who was killed in the line of duty by an illegal alien last week, was laid to rest on Saturday.

But where was Gov. Jerry Brown or Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom? What about Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris?

About 2 weeks ago GA had the funeral for a police officer killed in a criminal encounter. My mayor and my governor were both present at the funeral.
Singh is usually associated with the Sikh religion. Sikhs in general are very conservative and anti-Islamic.
