People in Germany believe their fellow citizens are happier to pay taxes for public spending than people in many other countries, a United Nations-backed study has found.
The news comes as lawmakers call on the German government to increase public investment or cut taxes amid a budget surplus. [ ]
Strong economic growth and low unemployment helped Germany record a 48.1 billion budget surplus in the first six months of 2018. That favorable position has split political opinion on what the government should do with the extra cash. Lawmakers from the Greens and the Left Party want more investment, while center-right lawmakers from the business-friendly Free Democrats (FDP) want tax cuts.

It’s easy for Germany to get a budget surplus when someone else is paying for their defense. It’s time they were forced to pay some of that extra money back to the nation that pays for their protection.
That’s because Germans as a whole have disdain for the individual and love the collective. That gave us Prussian control freak society, the third reich nazis, communism, and every “collective over the individual” philosophy known to man.
Well, they can be “happy” that they’re paying for their own subjugation and will soon be good little Dhimmis for the Moslem savages taking over their country, compliments of Frau Merkle.
And if there is one other thing Germans love, it’s to suffer an unbearable burden. They love to wallow in it. The “Sorrows of Young Werther” kind of thing. The more they suffer, the more they believe they are worthy and good.
When we see a million moslems march in and start raping and stabbing, we are horrified. Germans are also horrified. They aren’t stupid by any means. But they add the idea that they are showing their goodness how racist they aren’t. The more abusive the moslems are, the more proof the Germans have of their own goodness.
It’s very twisted
“...Its very twisted...”
It’s sick for sure. And there’s nothing “racist” about self-defense of your own culture, traditions, and heritage.
Somewhere along the way, people have allowed themselves to be criminally brainwashed into being terrified by a stupid word.

“People in Germany believe their fellow citizens are happier to pay taxes”
...but they themselves are not.
Maybe they could spend a little of that money to fix their tank.
or buy some F-35s.
Or maybe a sub. They have no operational subs at this time ( that is what I saw recently in a article)
Maybe a government that is working. Oh they got that.
It is a government dominated by globalists hacks flooding the country with Muslims. They also let us defend them. They are like spoiled little teenagers and we are the parents. I'll be most Germans and Euros would be shocked how little and not very often we think about Europe at all. They are really just another group of slacker nations.
European really means You're-a-peon.
Actually must be to fund migrants. I think they must still hate the Jews and want rid of them. I mean it’s obvious based on whom they are inviting as refugees.
Deutschland is happy and gay....
You dont care, except you are posting in this thread about Germany... many times too LoL!
BTW there are at least 3 times more illegals in the US than Muslims in Germany (peon x3).

In California the politicians say raise taxes to fund infrastructure. The voters fall it again and again.
Not a dime of the increase goes to fix anything. The money is always for the big fat pensions.
Germans must just as stupid.
It’s a bogus study. If you go to working-class Germans, they are mostly furious at the thousands of ways that public funding is wasted and going toward infrastructure projects with no real end (the Hamburg opera hall, the Stuttgart-21 project, the Berlin Airport, etc).
