I agree.... however, it is a strange dichotomy of mind. They are addicted to worry,.... and revel in it. I think they do believe that they are happy in it..... until sometimes when something breaks the spell and they become “woke.”
We do hear of it from time to time.
So... I am contrasting them as “Happy Worriers” to our being “Happy Warriors.”

For those who may want to try an eas(ier) way to create HTML code
I use a free HTML editor to prepare Q drops for posting on FR. There is a learning curve (i.e., I accidentally picked up 8ch links without knowing it) but it’s still so much faster than I can code manually.

As he sprints to the outdoor cooking area on the patio, he is heard saying, “Ain’t nobody better be messin’ in MY kitchen! Y’all stay out until the brisket is done; That’ll be another day and a half. Maybe I’ll let The Commander and Chef in for a consult.”

But don’t worry about your cooker. It’s ok, Cletus! We are putting in ANOTHER semi outdoor cooking area in the new pool/hot tub/ sauna area! The proper cooking of BBQ is a very important function here in our Qanteen! I’m sure the other BBQ/smoking chefs would agree with you!
I’m SURE no one wants to snag the brisket a minute before it is cooked to the falling apart stage that you are noted for! Even though it is tempting...

He chuckles again because the REAL brisket is tucked along with the sausage in the back of the cooker. No flame ups right there. The piece of brisket texokie sampled is a smaller decoy for such as her. He’s learned a thing or two over the years*

Anyone else think the praying medic thread on the Fed does not sound like praying medic? To me, it sounds like someone else wrote it. So far the info is good. It just doesn’t sound like it’s his “voice”.

I have not noticed that, generally, but I’m not really the one to ask. While I have respect for praying medic’s work, because his preferred modes are tweets or youtube, I have not immersed myself enough to be that familiar with his way of expression, or “voice.”

But some things are just too far afield not comment on.

Yes... it’s true I’ve done a couple of Laurel Canyon digs,.... and I actually have another one in the hopper which I have not written up yet.
I just appreciate the opportunity on this thread to think outside the box. If I am dead wrong, well...... Hell it won't be the first time!
