Only Trump knows his own strategy. He said awhile back that two could play this game. If the congress comes out with a bunch of muck, I would imagine PI have been gathering info on about 435 people ready to release. he can't trust the FBI, and seemingly the whole Justice Dept, even the ones he appointed. He most likely would dump it unless he had to because he is still hoping to get along with them to get re elected. If the Dems just want to study his taxes that have been audited for years by the IRS, I think he'll be fine. The Dems will end up looking ridiculous talking about putting foreign dignitaries in his hotels for money if he doesn't even take a salary for being POTUS. You shouldn't even be able to get an impeachment vote from the Dems for just not liking his tweets. Even if they did, it wouldn't get passed the Senate. Unless something unseen comes to light, he's on his way to re election.

IMO, if things work like I think they will, we will have +3.5% GDP and stable low unemployment for the next 2 years. NKorea, China, and Putin, for me anyway are his weakness. If one or 2 of these blow up, he could look bad. As he pulled out of Syria, if someone else doesn't step up,( Saudi's or soemeone else) Isis will return and the endless "I told you so's" will begin. Oil will continue to be our biggest weapon. In a couple of years there will be wells in places we never dreamed would be online.( ANWAR, ect. We could actually be bigger than OPEC. Could make the Middle East a little more friendly. Take away oil from their weapons, the ME is disarmed and they go back to camels and tents.

The basic problem the Democrats have on going after or impeaching Trump is, there is more on their own corruption in this whole affair than there is on Trump. If the full truth came out, going back to Hillary's server that started this, the Democrats would lose more than the Republicans. It is a no-win situation for them.
