The Broncos relieved head coach Vance Joseph of his duties on Monday after two seasons on the job, and three seasons removed from the franchise’s third Super Bowl victory.
After losing Sunday to the Chargers, Joseph leaves Denver with an 11–21 record, having been unable to revive an offense that set franchise records for passing with Peyton Manning in 2014 but has seen four different quarterbacks play meaningful snaps since his retirement a year later. Joseph endured criticism for being at times too aggressive in playcalling and down management, and not being aggressive enough, with his doubters reaching a crescendo in a December loss to the Browns in which Joseph elected to kick a field goal while down four points with four minutes left to play against the Browns.

Those Denver results all seem GM related to me. I know a sharp guy in an auto deal with Elway and he tells me he’s smart as whip, as on the ball as anyone he knows. But as Denver GM? He’s been pretty iffy, really.

When you gotta go to a dubious stat like “since 2011” you’ve lost. You had Manning fall into your laps. You beat the Pats the time you had the game at home like Manning did that one time in Indy. That’s what you got. And a ton of endorsement cash for Von Miller. If that car ain’t up on blocks this morning you guys are delusional, and I’m glad.

Actually, in California they are very blatant about their “diversity.” They just don’t care what you do. But I can promise you, with the test scores I got, SCE was not pleased they lost me. And I ended up with a long career with the military and later the feds. Retirement is good also. But I did want to impress that this “quota thing” is not new. It’s been around for many decades and actually started a few hundred year ago with the Mongols in the 1200’s. All has to do with pressure. California just perfected their “style” of getting even after 200 years for being a particular color and punishing people that have been dead for just as long.
