My Cousin Vinny is great but, The Graduate? As a comedy?

If you want to veg out one afternoon watch The Graduate followed immediately by Rainman? Those two, viewed back to back, makes them sort of funny.

I have seen it and I agree, “The Professional” is a good movie.

I saw it on an over the air station so it was edited which probably made it better.

Oh, definitely! Glad you saw it. I think I need to watch it again. An ‘R’ rating from back then is probably do-able for me now. ;)

My wife thinks it’s because she’s from the Midwest. Somehow more relatable to cornfed gals?

The Graduate? As a comedy?

The Graduate certainly wasn't a documentary. Everyone in the older generation who were in their 20s when that movie came out laughed like crazy at the word "Plastics" as it was used in the movie (not dirty—just dumb). There were a lot of great lines and scenes, especially with Mrs. Robinson.

Try the Rainman pairing. The Graduate first, then Rainman.

Overboard is a classic. Goldie Hawn is perfect in that. The kids are hilarious. The perception is wacky believable

It’s on TV about once a month. Because it is a great movie. A great comedy.
