I have noticed in the last year or so, NUMEROUS speakers speaking too fast, the word(s) isn't even slang or abbreviated English.

Even FOX commentators continually say "guvmint" and "ammediatly" ... talking so fast trying to stay in some artificial time slot.

And that doesn't even BEGIN to address the endless sentences that begin with "so"

If you listen to it repeatedly, or focus on one phrase or the other, you will hear BOTH.

I think it is more related to what’s in the LISTENER’S mind, as opposed to the actual words.
