For the curious, my wife of 38 years is a type two diabetic.
For years its was controlled with diet and exercise but then she had to go on insulin. With diabetes you simply have to have your sugars under control or all kinds of bad things happen.
With extensive studies and hard work she’s been off insulin for 6 or 8? years.
First minimal carbs, no dairy except hard cheeses like Parmesan, real nuts like macadamia, almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc. not regular peanuts. Salads with cooked organic grass fed burger, no dressing, BACON!, pork rinds, etc.
She’d make her own nut butters.
New is the fasting part which she’s working with so I figure she doesn’t know everything so thanks for all your input.
