What a JERK this guy turned out to be...
Outgoing White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly defends his rocky tenure
*******************************************************************************
Which guy? In reading through the article, it seems to me that the reporter is putting a negative spin on some rather innocuous statements for the most part. At least he didn’t pull a Steve Bannon and use the word treason about POTUS family.
IIRC, Kelly was actually getting Porter up to speed to become Chief of Staff, but stayed on after Porter was forced to leave.
Kelly lost a son in service, and served as a Marine for decades. I will not call such a man names. I may disagree with his statements, or positions, but still appreciate his service.
What he said about the board was positive. POTUS and Kelly consulted the Border Patrol about what was needed, and then went about acquiring it.
The DS and Presstitutes are framing every thing these days, and trying their best to make it so undesirable to work for POTUS, that everyone will refuse.
They also want to make it clear to anyone else how awful it will be, so that no one other DS derper ever considers running again.
Unless I hear the actual interview, uncut, I’m not believing even half of what the writer tries to put out there.
me too. there’s a reson why I don’t post sundance articles anymore...
Yeh, like I said-no consideration for the neighbors.
I have run across various articles from time to time regarding objections/laws regarding people collecting rainwater from the roof in a couple of barrels, and that seems like overkill to me.
I like You Tube videos, primarily because I can watch them on my TV and do other things while listening. BUT JUST DANG! No one can read aloud anymore. Disturbing! The younger the person the less they can read. Mercy! Come on Q! What’s the word?

I reread the article, and you are right. It WAS a pretty good article. Thanks for your take on it.

nothing. I guess sooner or later JimRob will delete him, after people stop poking him with sticks to see if he’s alive..
The only real reason for laws is that there are always some people who do not want to be good neighbors or citizens.
But that’s the way the world is. There will always be people who choose the dark side of existence.
board = border
You are welcome. Thanks for the courtesy of reconsideration.

We will find out tomorrow!
(Unless he grants a continuance until the next election!)

No. I think that it only applies to Senators. After researching, it appears to me that not much can be done with the house.
Even if convicted of felonies, the Representative may serve, unless there’s enough votes to oust them, which would mean a bunch of Dems would be needed.
Apologies if this has already been answered.
Mark
I figured out it might be by the second line.... a certain whiff that reminds me of sanctimonious dank mold

I’m a second liner too and I know what that whiff smells like, but I’ve never been able to describe it. THANKQ for putting words to it.

So sorry for your loss. Thank you for telling your story. It will likely help others to make a more informed decision on the matter, and perhaps prevent more such tragedies.
IIRC, the discussion started out with the House Rep from N. Carolina that the Dems will refuse to seat.
It also included discussion regarding the Senate, where Pubbies will have a super majority before the new Senate is seated. This was based on some speculation regarding various scenarios none of which is likely.
Excerpt and link below regarding N. Carolina Rep:
House Democrats will refuse to seat North Carolina Republican candidate Mark Harris on Jan. 3 as state election authorities investigate election fraud claims surrounding his race, incoming House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said Friday.
Graham emerged from the White House after a two-hour lunch with Trump and said the president “told me some things I didn’t know that make me feel a lot better about where we’re headed in Syria.”

I don’t have any patience with Folks like Lindsey. POTUS hears all sides and this was NOT a snap decision, and he isn’t all of a sudden slowing things down. Contrary to what that publication up thread about Lindsey and his interview said. Lindsey ought to get the facts before spewing his bilge.
Mattis has always said that POLITICAL ISLAM is the problem, and it won’t be defeated till Iran is dealt with. It was well known early on that POTUS wanted a plan to get the heck out of there and Mattis was supposed to deliver.
Mattis was given extension to get it done. Time was up. Not a big deal to arrange cover for Kurds and withdraw 2000 troops with plenty in Iraq to lend a hand if needed.
I approve of POTUS direction - let the locals get it done in a way they can live with - without constant troops and constant fighting by USA.
This whole DS Middle East policy has been a disaster, and USA and Allies are not better off for having toppled numerous governments over there, and allowing/helping the rise of ISIS who went on to slaughter Christians right and left. JMHO.
