It’s ridiculous some of the rules these days. Oregon illegal to collect water, other states have taxes based on water run off/storm drainage - ie too much water not collected or seeping into ground ie too much concrete.

Some have strict rules regarding plants in front yard. Too bad if the front yard faces south-no planting veggies.

It’s anti - American - interfering with a person’s ability to be more self sufficient.

Re: vaccines -

Our youngest grandson is 18 months old. My husband and I tried to talk our daughter out of vaccinating at all. She did agree to slow walk the schedule for his shots, getting half the recommended vaccines on each visit, making it necessary to make two trips separated by a month or so.

Two things we ran into - if you decide not to vaccinate sometimes pediatricians will dismiss your child as a patient. The other thing was the insurance company will not pay for a second visit for the other half of the vaccinations. So her dad and I offered to pay for the second visit. Baby is in daycare so he has to have some of them.

My daughter is not a “think outside the box” person. She was born in another country and lived in an orphanage for a couple of years so “big authority” is something she doesn’t like to buck.

As far as the number of businesses impacted-DUH. Of course. Most places are limited to one phone company. All the businesses are going to be dependent on that phone company, and in rural areas, they often use that company’s DSL service.

DS people are wealthy. Of course they are going to own loads of technology and telecom stocks-enough to impact management decisions.

Good for you. I’m sure it helps decrease the risk. We go to a Federally Qualified Health Center - they are required to accept all patients regardless of ability to pay and regardless of insurance or lack there of.

The price of service is based on ability to pay - set by the board of directors-up to 200% of federal poverty guidelines. My granddaughter recently had to go, and for an xray to determine broken bone or not, and Rx for antibiotic salve-it was $20 co-pay and $8 medicine.

If a person makes more than 200% of poverty, they will set up a payment schedule, on request. Had she needed additional test at a hospital, they would have arranged a financial discount and payment arrangements.

Much better than Obama Care. JMHO

Anyway, the government pushes the vaccines, but the center doesn’t, even though the government makes them track the number and offers “carrots” for doing it. I’m sure that sticks will be in the future, unless things change.

I think DR. that refuse to patients for vaccine decisions are appalling-188%.

I looked at a whole page of images of her.

This one of her at her desk I REALLY wondered about. I do not have the skills to look at the items close up / blown up as I would like, but some of you who DO have the skill, it might be interesting to examine the pictures on the wall behind her. There is one right to the left of the blue flag of a guy in glasses. [Hubby?] The picture is partially obscured by the flag. I'm guessing she is in the part of the picture which is behind the flag.

The one right above her head is interesting. I wonder what the words are which are inset. Is that a view of a council chamber or court room or? Then to our left of that is another picture of her with someone.

There are other pictures and items in this image which caught my eye, but I just can't see them well enough to truly and fairly examine them.

Her gold earrings are squares and she wears them in several other images. She has interesting jewelry - favoring trade beads and big clunky rings. Again I can't view them well enough to determine if I see pink or red warning flags. Probably not.

It brought to mind the pictures we saw last summer of people with the left eyes being blacked or covered or pointed at/obscured somehow. This picture upon examination isn't quite that, but enough so that I wanted to document it here. Plus she is wearing black. The gold earrings make another appearance. (Again, apologies for the these images.)

About 20 years ago, Kassar left Syria and settled in the United Arab Emirates. He had a home in Syria and often visited, and that is where he met his wife. In 2014, after losing his job at a car rental agency and not being allowed to stay in the United Arab Emirates, the family ended up in Jordan.

Kassar then took a circuitous path to the U.S. that involved securing a visa to Brazil. Once there, he made it to Mexico and then to the U.S., where he was initially arrested and held in a detention center.

With the help of Sammer Karout — Kassar’s brother-in-law and a restaurant owner in Connecticut — and other family members, his release was secured and he was able to remain in the U.S.

I have not researched Sammer Karout, no doubt another person who was so greatly wronged by our POTUS's immigration and border protection policies.
