Rob in the UK said the same thing there. The important stuff gets taken care of but there are ling waits for everything else. Except for those with private insurance and doctors love to take those cases.
Wow 2 months beyond our tax freedom day is nuts! Working half the year for the government should make people angry. I tj ink we are due for another tea party here - our founding fathers rebelled over so much less.

These White House pool reporters spend hours sitting somewhere while the President is doing something closed to them. I wonder how many of the pool reporters use the time to learn something, especially from sources other than the propaganda media. Most probably don’t since they are better at continuing their lying (definition: attempting to deceive) if they stay ignorant of the actual facts of a situation.

Headed to town. Cool and overcast. Sure wish we had at least a dusting of snow for Christmas. OTOH. First blizzard usually hit first week of January.

"Do you usually get quite a bit of snow or mostly rain?"Actually we don't get much of either. Where I am at is only about 300 ft elevation and dessert. We used to get more snow in the winter but irrigation has really changed the landscape. Two years ago we got snow for about 20 days in a row but total accumulation was only about 3ft. It was so cold that winter, 0 degrees for several days that it stayed on for 3 months. Last winter very little snow. Now so far this year just that little bit yesterday. Sometimes our real bad weather comes in Jan or Feb so will see what happens then.
