It’s a post privacy world. Has been for over 20 years. Worrying now is closing the barn door after the cows not only left but been killed and eaten.
OnStar or any of the other similar driver assist features.
I work in Manhattan and about a year ago the police came to my building to question an employee who was involved in a shoving incident at Grand Central terminal. The police, through video surveillance was able to track him all the way to the office.
Look around you - these domes are everywhere and each of them contain a security camera.
Oh yeah. Like 20 years ago there was a story coming out of London that the cops tracked some mugger from the site of a mugging to his apt, and his curtains were open so they got the exact apt. And there’s more better surveillance now. And the modern retail industry is all about customer tracking and targeted ads, even if you pay cash everybody’s got cameras and ways to figure out that’s you and send the right circular. We’re all just data points.
