A younger relative saw it last night and preferred it to Aquaman.

Waiting for Mel Gibson flick in the spring - current title is “DESTROYER” (which may change because of other movie with same name )

Tells story of USS LAFFET which on April 12 1945 withstood attacks by 50 kamikazes

It was hit by 4 bombs and 6 kamikaze

Suffered 31 dead and 71 wounded , but was able to survive

Hope its as good as HACKSAW RIDGE

Julie Andrews is Mary Poppins and very pretty too. That other women looks like she is sucking prunes. Disney will add Jar Jar Binks to the next Mary Poppins film and or the Ewoks.....

Instead of “pound”, they could always use “octothorpe”, but that might conjure up images of tentacle porn.

5 million opening on a Wednesday night for a family flick on a school night? That’s not a flop.

It’ll Likely be near or over $100M by end of next weekend.

As good as the first movie? Of course not, but honestly trying to spin a Wednesday night opening of a film targeted at families with kids in single digit ages at $5 million as a flop is nonsense.

It’s quite simple. The movie is strictly a G-rated flick, with no transgender chimney sweeps, no gay children trying to find themselves, no lewdness, no wardrobe malfunctions, and no pro-muzzlime soapboxes. It is a truly family-friendly movie, with children born within wedlock, a loving parent, children being held to high behavioral standards and corrected if they don’t, lots of fun, several black actors performing splendidly in flattering roles, demonstrations of generosity, etc. It is no surprise at all that libtard rags would pan this wholesome family entertainment.

"Surprise appearances from Meryl Streep"

She ruins it.

It’s not a re-make. It’s a sequel about the grown up Banks children who now have children of their own.

Over $100 Million and it’s not even the end of its opening weekend.. what a garbage article.. and those jumping on it as the movie flopped are fools.

Next week with kids off easily add another 100-200 million more.

Dick Van Duke has a reprisal of his old rone in the original Mary Poppins.

Thanks to Meryl Streep, I’ll likely catch it for free sometime.

My leftist acquaintances and the NYT seem to hate it.

The film is overall simple, it’s one of the better sequels I went for since I am tired of all these franchise films with endless trash sequels that get hyped up so much.

If it is a family film why is it rated PG?

Sometime a movie company will add a "damn!" or something similar to a film to avoid a "G" rating. A "G" will kill a movie with the teen crowd.

Thanks, enough leftists hate it to attract me, but Streep doesn’t, so I won’t pay to see it.

Wish they’d done another sequel instead.
