I am going to tell the Grandkids that I was on a *party* line, where several families shared 1 land line, which was managed by a person known as an "operator". There were *no* computers, and *no* cell phone. No LEDs, No satellites, No GPS.

I will brag to them that I was involved in the program that *created* GPS.

Thanks fieldmarshaldj. Back in my day, that was the CD player, "the power of light". I think. My day was back there far enough I'm not sure now.
