Without having done any research, sure doesn’t sound like your run of the mill public school. They may want to take a look at their screening/hiring policies.
What’s with so many of these lovelorn female teachers? Try finding someone closer to their own ages and not their students. She’s 47 and he’s 13. Good Lord she’s wacky.
And just think it is people like this who get to teach explicit sex ed to the kiddies.
If this had been handled appropriately the first time around - see Mary Kay Letourneau - we wouldn’t be going through this crap.
Prison time straight up, liquidation of personal property to pay for mental health car for victim, loss of license and register as a pedo for life.

I’m glad I was in public school when I was (1959-1972).
Sure, we had weird teachers. Eccentric, to be more precise.
But...
There was only one teacher who was even rumored to be a perv. A middle aged bachelor art teacher who liked to invite boys to his home for the weekend. And the kids he invited, on reflection, seemed like the ones who couldn’t figure out how weird that was. Not making excuses, but you can catch my drift. Pervs know where to hunt.
And the female teachers? None of this crap. Not. One.
That’s funny how she tried to bond with the kid by using “u” instead of “you” to be hip, cool and with it.
She’s obviously guilty. I wonder who will take care of her 13 cats while she serves the 30 day sentence that female teachers seem to get for these sorts of situations.
