Were it not for FR requiring third party posting I could provide about a dozen cute little pitbull pictures. All are dead and were shot by me while they were attacking cattle here on the ranch ,
Thank you for your service

Just posted in my neighborhood listserve, a puppy on a lead on owner's own lawn attacked by a ..?? whose owner thought they'd get along (just as happened to my own dog):
My neighbors 3-month-old puppy was just attacked... She was in her yard with the puppy on a leash and a man was walking his dog on the sidewalk. The man let his dog approach the puppy and the dog grabbed the puppys neck and would not let go until the man punched the dog in the face. The puppy was crying and has two puncture wounds. The man would not stop to give his name or info and just kept walking. The dog was a beige dog probably about 35 lb. with floppy ears.
Gee, I just wonder which breed that was... We certainly know which owner type it was.

It might have been the Javalinas. They are bad news.

Javalina’s don’t like dog’s! Javalina isn’t like a hog that cuts with it’s tusks on the upstroke. A Javalina has 4 very sharp teeth that they actually bite and slash with. I have friends that run hog’s with dogs and they have lost several dog’s to Javalinas. On friend lost his catch dog which was a pit/blackmouth cross. it bleed to deat from a single Javalina. A really big Javalina will be less than 65lbs, most are in the 30 to 40 lb range. They will cut a dog to pieces. Nothing messes with a Javalina.
