MEMPHIS, Tenn. Memphis police are searching for a Mid-South couple who stole an elderly woman's groceries, then laughed as they walked away.
Sylvia Crump purchased over $80 worth of groceries at Kroger at Poplar and Cleveland on Thursday afternoon.
As she walked out of the store she says she left her cart near a security guard and waited for her ride in the entry way.
"The security guard had to go to the restroom and I turned my back, and next thing I know, the grocery cart and everything was gone," she said.
When the manager and police reviewed the stores footage they saw a man add his grocery bags to Crump`s cart. A woman even followed his lead as they exchanged smiles.
"I had a few dollars left to pay my utility bills and that`s it," Crump said.
Crump says she is on a fixed income. She`s had many heath issues including cancer, causing her to lose her eye.
She says she tries to make it to the store when she can, but she just doesn't have much money to spend.
"It's the holidays, it's the only money I have for Christmas so hey, what am i going to do now?"
Luckily for her, Kroger gave her a $100 gift card to buy what she needs.
She says it will replace the tangible items but wants the thieves to know what they did is not right.
"You ain't going to be blessed. They're not going to be blessed. They got to repay for what they do. Whatever you do wrong, you shall repay it. Not now, later."

I won’t ask.
How about showing the rest of the world the footage of the perps and the theft ... maybe we’ll even be surprised with what it shows ....
When they find them, someone should give them a good beatdown!
It’s Memphis...you don’t have to ask.
No need to ask, and yes there are pics at the bottom of the story.
Good pictures, they will get caught.

"What da problem? We got groceries, you got $100, and we both got over on da man."
May they be blessed with long lives so that they may someday experience for themselves being old, infirm, impoverished and helpless.
In the meantime, I hope that someone finds them and kicks their asses.
I wonder if she is related to Boss Crump. He was the long time mayor and political boss of Memphis.
Shes right. Theyre going to get theirs at the Judgment and it wont be fun. But prayers for them anyway, because theyre too dumb to even think about these things. But God the Father, Our Lady and Our Lord know.
This is why each and every day in sub Saharan Africa, someone is hacked to death.

I guarantee you before the end of this weekend, someone in America will replace her groceries or give her some money.
Popular Avenue used to be...
...but there are a lot of used to be(s) in Memphis.
In Sub-Saharan Africa the farmers are having their land stolen. This is just a downstream development of that.
“I wont ask.”
No need to. Black on black crime.
