Here’s a hunch that didn’t work out (June 17th) — Parsons did a lot of pure rocketry research, as well as Ackroyd/Ghostbusters script nutty stuff, ran afoul of HUAC, but ultimately tangled with L. Ron Hubbard, and died in an explosion at home that was labeled an accident.

I came to the same information, undoubtedly for the same reason, while checking upon the death of a biographer of Robert Heinlein, William Patterson. Patterson wrote a two-part biography, and died the day the second part was published, April 22, 2014.
