Thanks vannrox, I'd heard the basic story about Gleason, read it somewhere, nice to have the details available. Lovable Ralph Kramden, during his lifetime managed to accumulate what is said to have been the largest single library of "occult literature" ever assembled. Of course, I learned of that many years after the last time I watched him say "wow!" after taking a hit of his "orange juice" at the beginning of the Jackie Gleason show.

Here’s a hunch that didn’t work out (June 17th) — Parsons did a lot of pure rocketry research, as well as Ackroyd/Ghostbusters script nutty stuff, ran afoul of HUAC, but ultimately tangled with L. Ron Hubbard, and died in an explosion at home that was labeled an accident.

The periodical, Paranoia, is aptly named.

When I was a kid I read all John Keel’s books. They meant a lot to me then and I really like him to this day - have a lot of affection - but of course realize now what a bunch of hooey it all is.

If you haven’t read Moseley’s book, Shockingly Close to the Truth, definitely read it.

If this is anything like the Clinton Body count then it means that aliens do actually exist and there is a government wide conspiracy to cover it up because the government doesn’t want to admit there is crap they cannot control.

I came to the same information, undoubtedly for the same reason, while checking upon the death of a biographer of Robert Heinlein, William Patterson. Patterson wrote a two-part biography, and died the day the second part was published, April 22, 2014.

Interesting how much the paths of space, UFOs, and the occult cross.
