Kid Rock gave the Nashville, Tennessee, community a nice Christmas present this week, paying off $81,000 in layaway debts at an area Walmart. @tylerperry Great idea! I followed your lead and paid off the layaway at my local Walmart in Nashville. Merry Christmas and God Bless You! Kid Rock said in a tweet Friday, following the lead of Tyler Perry, who paid off layaway debts at Walmarts in Georgia.

Thanks Jonny.
Kid Rock is a good man and a patriot.
Yes, he is!
The spirit of giving. Nice way to do it too.
I agree.
Never was a fan though.
We could use random acts of kindness by everyday people.
It's not $81K, but I always drive away with a good feelng, particularly when the car behind me looks like a worn out beater with a mom full of kids :)
I almost bought the black Strat Bobby East used on Cowboy for 1200
at Guitar Center @100 Oaks in the Berry Hill section of Nashville

Nice act of generosity by Tyler Perry and now Kid Rock. Usually celebrities are more generous with lectures on things they aren’t qualified to speak about than they are with their own money, so it’s very nice to see a couple of them actually doing something kind for people who could use it.
The best kind of giving is doing something for someone and not bragging about it.
apparently this is a thing in other cities as well:
talking to yourself again JW?
I don’t think he was bragging. He noted that he was following another person’s lead. I think he was just putting it out there in case someone else was able to do the same.
Even if you can’t go that big, there is always something little that you can do to make someone else’s day brighter. Sometimes people just need to be reminded that they can do something good.
Talking to you, obviously, since the post was made to you.
Try to pay attention.
you addressed me with a name closer to your own than mine. Why?
I guess I just get mixed up, what with your multiple accounts and all.
I'm sorry if that makes you mad.
You’re just mixed up in general John.
