30 second daytime video shows high level of street violence:
Constant shower of rocks, use of trucheons, gate barricades are thrown --a high level of energy.
If you see the clip, you could say this looks vaguely revolutionary.
I also heard a ZeroHedge claim that 90,000 troops will be deployed across France.

I’ll bet a pretty big share of antifa doesn’t know which bathroom to use.
They’re just a cardboard box with a mean sign painted on the outside.

I would really say this is not simply about a gas tax, they seem pissed about A LOT of stuff. Well, the French have themselves in a bit of a pickle. They want low taxes and they also want lots of free stuff; thirty five hr workweek, month of August on holiday, free med, free college, on and on. They can have one or the other but not both. Dumb 🐸 lol....

The smugness was strong in Macron, trying to shame Trump at the G20 and calling nationalists traitors.
Good to see him have his ass handed to him in such a decisive manner.
In the near future, look to the EU Army to “handle” these types of uprisings. WWIII in the way.

The French Revolution wasn’t an organized uprising but events in several locales spiraling out of control.
If the current melee spreads beyond Paris, then the government and perhaps the Fifth Republic will topple. Macron has no young Napoleon to scatter the rioters with a whiff of grapeshot and if he brings in the army then it’s civil war.
And there is no Charles de Gaulle to march in and assume power.

YJ's are looking like they are taking ground too.

Ah, but remember the Rebellion of 1833, depicted in “Les Miserables” failed. And it was put down by the Guardes National, the part time citizen militia, not the Army or the Police.

Gotta hand it to the French. They pretty much invented the urban riot.
