Well, my Dad had to walk 6 miles to school every day for 12 years when he was a kid. No bus in the rural area.
My kids had to run 6 miles every day for cross country track.
My only concern would be, in this day and age, that some one would abduct her, so I’d probably want to find a different way, if it was my kid.
The dad followed her in his vehicle, filming her.
Hard to abduct a kid with dad following the entire way.
OTOH, in uber lib Austin, TX they let little kindergarteners on city buses by themselves - https://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3710912/posts. What could possibly go wrong with a 5 year old alone on public transportation?? Yet, libs are getting upset with this father.
I clicked on the link. He followed her in his car, recording the whole time on his cell phone.
Uphill. Both ways.
That's what I was thinking. I seldom see kids waiting for a school bus without a parent waiting with them. According tom the article, the dad drove behind her.
I think he followed her the whole way.
Barefoot...uphill (both ways)
