An Ohio father punished his daughter by making her walk five miles to school in 36 degrees after she was thrown off the bus for bullying. Matt Cox of Swanton said in a Facebook post that his 10-year-old daughter was suspended from the school bus last Friday. This was the second time that she had gotten into trouble for bullying. The young girl told her father that he would have to drive her to school for an entire week.

The real issue to think about this is why it is national news.................
Uphill, both ways?
A phone is a safety requirement?
I used to walk five miles to school every day!
Up hill!
BOTH WAYS!....................
You bet it is. Parental kidnapping, shooting in school, bullying, getting lost, needing rescue from a party where the kids are drinking or drugging Amen, it is a safety requirement.
Bullying is not a learned behavior, it is the natural default behavior. It requires civilizing to train out of children.
It is the same with homosexual behavior, there are multiple causes, but we should never forget that behaviors can be modified which is what this father is doing and should not be national news.
For all, remember the media is trying to modify our behavior in this article also, and it is working .
I had to walk a mile home with my sister I know starting in the third grade. Mom and dad had had only one car. Dad would take us to school and sister and I had to walk home. It didn’t mater how bad the weather, snow,or rain. I remember one time it was a bad thunderstorm and mom found someone to pick us up. Otherwise we walked!
“I wonder where she learned to bully others....”
She seems to be oversize for her age, which probably plays into the bullying.
Humans don’t necessarily have to “learn” bad behavior. It comes naturally.
Exactly right. It was not cold enough to freeze anything. More liberal bias from the media.
Exactly. Have you ever had to teach a toodler how to lie, cheat and steal? Unfortunately we're born evil, but that has to be unlearned.
You are correct. Furthermore, I “feel” that girls are often much more domineering than boys.
I think he followed her the whole way.
This is GREAT!! I drove a school bus for nine years and from time to time I would have to write up a kid for misbehavior and sometimes they would get kicked off of the bus. I felt bad for the parents because most of the time they had no idea that their kid was a problem on the bus until they got kicked off because the principle usually never said anything. I felt like the parent was being punished and the kid was getting pampered by getting to be a “car rider”, which a lot of times was a hardship on the parent. Kudos to that father for making his kid accountable!!!!
We did a five-mile hike in drizzly weather with Cub Scouts (age 10 and under) on Sunday morning, including a Cub’s 3-year-old sister.
If the father was with her and they had appropriate clothing, this is quite reasonable.
They still have trouble converting Celsius to Fahrenheit. You’d think they’d get it straight by now considering we liberated England centuries ago.
But as with many of their efforts mostly producing results antithetical to their aim.
Donald Trump will never be the Republican nominee.
Then she get’s kidnapped and raped. He sounds like an asshole. Just take her to school that morning and deal with the problem later that evening.
Give them an old inactive cell phone. It will still dial 911.
CC
I think he did too. So that’s my point. Just take her to school, since you have to drive anyway, and make her life miserable on the way. Also take away all the optional stuff she would miss-like TV, Computer, Phone conversations with friends etc.
