Hey, Gang! The temps got near 50 degrees and I finally got my tulip and daffodil bulbs planted...but the latter were really Narcissistic about it!
Also insulated and trimmed the two windows on the north side of my shop. I’d post a photo...if I could figure out how to do it!
Now, to put up the outside decorations.

Hello FRiend! Great to be back. My VVR coworker and I, just about did not make it up, and over the Kaiser pass on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 27th, (elevation 9,184') as a winter storm slammed into the mountain range. Yikes! In error, we left about 24 hours too late, due to a storm moving in a day earlier than predicted. What a valuable lesson I learned, that I will never forget. They call those mountains- the big mountains for a reason.

Hello Neighbor! Well- it's been a whirlwind trip, from the mountains back to AZ, to vote, to... back to the CA mountains to shut things down up at the resort. 1,500 miles round trip was enough for me (losing my youthful touch). Hubris and a sense of dare, almost left me stranded high and deep up in the Sierras, for who knows how long. A coworker and I, knowing the area as we do, tried to stay up in the high country until Dec. 1st, for some kind of bragging rights, that proved ill advised. Luckily, we escaped by the skin of our chinny chin chins, and are now safely down in the San Joaquin Valley... counting our blessings. Thank you for looking out for my well being. Someday we will have to break bread together. My family spread the ashes of our parents above Pinetop, off of the loop trail under the fire tower, and a return visit is in order. All the best.

Great thread beginning Woodstock!! Still watching Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas. Fed the birds and added more flash tape outside my windows. Its been windy here for the last few days and the birds seems to get more confused and take a quick turn before hitting the windows....MOST of the time.Hope you and Lucy are keeping warm. Take care and much thinks for the amazing new thread as usual.
