Packers have fired Mike McCarthy and named Joe Philbin interim HC.
I've seen enough.
I might start caring about the Steelers again if they would dump Tomlin.

Take a look. He took over when the Packers had Farve and we all know the story on him in his last years at GB. After the 08 season when McCarthy put in Rodgers take a look at the wins per season until 17 when Rodgers got his head up his ass and started acting like he was something.
Dont tell me it was all McCarthys fault.
Packers wont win 5 games next year unless they get rid of the problems within the team. And Rodgers has become a problem.

Yup. And the coach gets the blame. Gruden is finding that out this year also.
Only ONE coach in the history of that franchise has more wins in the amount of games coached.
But, only one coach took a mediocre team and won 6 championships. He got the hell out when the gettin was good though.

well, mccarthy had existential problems with his last all-world qb, too, so that bears mentioning.
but the guy with the problem right now is the interim. if AR dropped mccarthy in a heap of dead flesh, the interim hasn’t got a chance. and the next full time coach has got an even bigger problem; kiss rodgers a$$, or he’ll shut down on you.
what that qb did to the packers was close to sabotage.
I haven't followed that closely but Patricia... he seems not ready for prime time. Petulant. Doesn't handle the press well. Has the team practice outside for an indoor game. Some weird stuff going on there... Not the phlegmatic stoic type (ala his mentor Belichick) that you want in a head coach.
I have the Lions WRs in my fantasy league this year. Disappointment.

I just turned on the Chargers - Steelers game with the score 23 - 7 Steelers. Chargers have scored twenty-three points in the last ten minutes! Now 30 - 23 Chargers....
