Again?
That poor dude has died at least 15 times just right here on FR in the last day or so.
“F troop just wouldn’t be the same without the OLd man, sir”
Captain Parlminter “ What Old Man?”
O’Rourke “Why you, sir”. You’re the old man.”
Here’s to you old man. R.I.P. Old Man !
He was good, mostly the straight man on Mayberry and other shows. RIP.
Some other blathering starry-eyed celebrity obsessed freepers beat you to the banal, Sparkster. He was a terrible actor in shows worse, who cares. And his ex-wife is a certified fruitcake.
I remember her as Seymour's "love interest" Audrey in the original "Little Shop of Horrors". The Roger Corman, shot over a weekend, black and white version, not the overblown musical version with Steve Martin stomping all over the show. It also featured a young Jack Nicholson portraying Wilbur Force, the masochistic dental patient.
He had such a sweet face, great comic timing and man, could that guy dance!
Thanks for the memories, Mr. Berry. RIP. :)
F Troop and McHale’s Navy are two great shows that don’t seem to be shown in rerun much. Too un-PC I guess.
Always loved the blind lookout and the old guy that was the only survivor of the Alamo.
Being a big VW fan, I must mention he starred in “Herbie Rides Again,” the first sequel to “The Love Bug.”
