“F troop just wouldn’t be the same without the OLd man, sir”
Captain Parlminter “ What Old Man?”
O’Rourke “Why you, sir”. You’re the old man.”

Here’s to you old man. R.I.P. Old Man !

Append keyword "searchworks" ButThreeLeftsDo 12/02/2018 12:46:31 PM PST

Since you consistently spam keywords on articles, such as 'searchworks', onemoretime, etc...What's your point?

I wondered why I never see reruns of F Troop on the TV.

After sampling a few, now I don't wonder any more. Activist groups would have a field day...

Two seasons, only 65 episodes, not enough to be a mainstay on retro channels. It has been on one of the retro channels within the last few years.

A lot of unPC stuff and innuendo with an underage Melody Patterson.

He was good, mostly the straight man on Mayberry and other shows. RIP.

Some other blathering starry-eyed celebrity obsessed freepers beat you to the banal, Sparkster. He was a terrible actor in shows worse, who cares. And his ex-wife is a certified fruitcake.

His ex-wife, actress Jackie Joseph

I remember her as Seymour's "love interest" Audrey in the original "Little Shop of Horrors". The Roger Corman, shot over a weekend, black and white version, not the overblown musical version with Steve Martin stomping all over the show. It also featured a young Jack Nicholson portraying Wilbur Force, the masochistic dental patient.

“Actress Melody Patterson, who played the feisty cowgirl Wrangler Jane in the comic western sitcom “F Troop” in the mid-1960s, has died at a nursing home in Hollister, Mo. She was 66.” (2015)

He had such a sweet face, great comic timing and man, could that guy dance!

Thanks for the memories, Mr. Berry. RIP. :)

F Troop and McHale’s Navy are two great shows that don’t seem to be shown in rerun much. Too un-PC I guess.

Always loved the blind lookout and the old guy that was the only survivor of the Alamo.

Being a big VW fan, I must mention he starred in “Herbie Rides Again,” the first sequel to “The Love Bug.”
