Wow!

What an improbable come-back win.

Jalen Hurts is the most popular person in Alabama today.

Georgia gave the game away with that stupid fake punt.

Wow, Alabama won a football game. Their players can all ride off into the sunset in their Chargers and Escapades.

If Bama picks an MVP for the season Jalen gets my vote. It’s a “Rudy” inspiration.

Jalen Hurt was very gracious in the post game interview and thanked everyone who contributed to his success. I think he left out someone, Kirby Smart. (Actually, mentioning Smart would not have been gracious.)

That young man was well raised. His family and Alabama should be proud of him.

Dark is the stain that we cannot hide.
What can avail to wash it away?
Look! There is flowing a Crimson Tide,
Brighter than snow you may be today.

Why did did Sabin keep keep his Gimpy QB in for so long and risk loosing? I know why? He wanted to help Tag win the Heisman. Interestingly enough Hurts showed that Tag wasn’t all that and was able to perform every bit as well as Tag. Anyone else notice that. Is Tag just a beneficiary of a strong supporting cast or is Tag the reason that Alabama has had so much success? That question was answered yesterday. Tag is just a beneficiary.

Amazing performance last night. I knew he would pull it off as he has played this season as a backup brilliantly.

Despite the loss, I think Georgia deserves a spot in the playoffs. They’re the only team that stretched Alabama all year. Alabama, Clemson, Notre dame, and Georgia. Ohio State had a blowout loss, and Oklahoma won several squeakers. UCF didn’t have the competition the others had.

I listened to his post game interview and it was apparent that the only reason he's in college is to play football......

Next year Hurts will be a senior, Tua will be a junior and his little brother will be coming on board......Looks like Saban won't be hurting for QB's for quite a while......

Alabama coming from behind was not improbable, but highly likely. It's not as if Jalen Hurts was an untested freshman.

Auburn fan here but was glad to see him help win the game last night after what happened last year.

And glad the fans have supported him.

Daughter was in Band @ Auburn the year of the missed field goal and return for a touchdown and win by Auburn . . . and she still remembers all the awful things that were posted on social media to that poor kicker for Alabama that missed the field goal the he should commit suicide and many other horrible comments. Really? It is just a football game and the kid is what 19 or 20 years old.

WHAT. A. GAME.

The start of the 3rd quarter was absolutely cringe-worthy, like Saban was in the midst of having his pants pulled down around his knees and his fanny spanked.

And then ... Hurts.

That was a life-defining event that will live in Alabama lore as long as the houndstooth hat. That young man has some serious gris-gris.

Georgia is a great team, perhaps even in the top 4, but I don’t see the committee selecting a two loss team. And Ohio State is probably a better team than Oklahoma. But people love offense, and Oklahoma has the best offense in football. They will likely be the fourth seed.

Whether or not you’re a Bama fan, you should be happy for Jalen.

You have to respect that unlike most spoiled brats in college football that transfer because they aren’t the starter, he understood the value of staying, and knowing that he was still an important member of the team.
