I was out most of yesterday, so far behind. I did manage to watch the Hannity nothing burger show. Unless there was something there I missed. The one thing I noticed was that H spent a LOT of time talking about how the other networks were dissing GHWB. Was that a subtle way to allow H to talk smack about GHWB? (”Oh, I would never say this, but OTHER people are saying the most terrible things....)
So maybe H knows that GHWB is derp but can’t come out in the open and say so. For MANY reasons. Note that Trump is being respectful also. For now.
Another thing I was musing about while AFK yesterday....
Remember the discussion about W having his tailor flown in on a private jet right before the death of GHWB? There was a lot of speculation about whether this was a sign that the derps planned the death or that he was already dead, etc.
But think about this. WHY would he have to fly in a tailor on a private jet from overseas? (Malaysia, IIRC) Is it like this guy is the only possible person on earth who could make a nice suit???? Are there no good tailors in TX? In the entire USA? And what a ginormous expense for a suit! I don’t know what a round trip on a private jet goes for, but add that to the cost of the materials and labor and that’s one heckuva expensive suit.
So I was thinking about what reason there might be for this. Maybe there was something or someone besides the tailor on that plane. I was thinking maybe assassin? That was the first idea I came up with but maybe some other FReeQs would have better ideas. Or maybe it was a “thing”. Evidence, info or something that needed to be handed off in person. Comms are difficult for the DS these days.
Thinking a bit more, I also considered the possibility that maybe the purpose of the flight was not to bring something to W, but to take something away. Or someone.
Maybe I’ve gotten so far out of the box that I can’t even see the box any more. Or maybe I’m flailing around near the target.
I’d love to hear what other FReeQs think about this. Maybe some better ideas, or expansion on these ideas.
I listened to Hannity’s radio show yesterday. My take on the content was Sean was way more than respectful...it was almost over-the-top gushing abound how great a man GHWB was. “The world is a much better and richer place having had George Bush in it”, per Sean yesterday.
OK...I know Sean is not going to burn on Bush in these circumstances, but if Sean knows what we know, I don’t know how he could be THAT enthusiastic. I could not pull off the act.
It did seem like a nothing burger show after Trump promoted it... One drop said Fox cancelled 3 guest though, so his show might have changed from original plans.
Only thing I could figure was something almost normal for Hannity, pointing out how it is so normal for the media to be praising Bush as a Patriot now that he is dead when they treated him terrible as President... I started to say as bad as Trump, but they have set all time highs on negative coverage with Trump!
