She doesnt just deserve a lump of coal in her stocking, she should get a whole trainload!
A bah-humbug New Jersey substitute teacher shattered the hearts of a class of first-graders by telling them Santa Claus and his eight reindeer werent real and then it got a lot worse.
She proceeded to just completely unleash on them, said stunned parent Lisa Simek, whose daughter Emilia was in the class at Cedar Hill School in Montville, on Facebook.
She told them Santa isnt real and parents just buy presents and put them under their tree.
She told them reindeer cant fly and elves are not real [and] elf on the shelf is just a pretend doll that your parents move around. She did not even stop there: the tooth fairy is not real because mom or dad just sneak into your room in the middle of the night and put money under your pillow, same goes for the Easter bunny.
She told them magic does not exist. There is no such thing as magic anything, Simek wrote. A grown woman tried to crush our 6-year-olds spirit, along with the spirits of the other 22 kids.
One parent said the substitute teachers rant even targeted leprechauns.
Some of the children refused to believe the Scroogey sub, known as Ms. M, when she announced the Christmas spirit-stomping news Thursday.
The children began yelling that everything is real, one parent, Mayra Aboyoun, wrote on Facebook. My daughter is completely heartbroken!
Another woman told The Post that her 6-year-old granddaughter was beside herself.
My granddaughter came home yesterday and told me, Mimi, Santa Claus isnt real. And I flipped out, the woman recalled.

That ####.
Santa has a gender?
We don’t have the name of this female.
Dreadful——a really magical time in a child’s life-——ruined.
.
:( :( :(
Now the parents are gonna have to go the extra mile to prove there is one.
They are very impressionable both ways and the parents could say the teacher is wrong and an idiot and ask a fat neighbor (Like me :) ) to show up in a Santa outfit.
My wife would kick her ass

House rules. No one tells mom there is no Santa.
“She told them magic does not exist. There is no such thing as magic anything,”
LOL. If I was in that class I would immediately follow up with, “but you’re a witch. Don’t you have a magic flying broom?”
VIRGINIA, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a skeptical age. They do not believe except they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be mens or childrens, are little. In this great universe of ours man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect, as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.
Yes, VIRGINIA, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus. It would be as dreary as if there were no VIRGINIAS. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies! You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the chimneys on Christmas Eve to catch Santa Claus, but even if they did not see Santa Claus coming down, what would that prove? Nobody sees Santa Claus, but that is no sign that there is no Santa Claus. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but thats no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.
You may tear apart the babys rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived, could tear apart. Only faith, fancy, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, VIRGINIA, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding.
No Santa Claus! Thank God! he lives, and he lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.
The school district lists substitutes on the staff pages? That's really unusual.
Teacher tells first graders the truth. Everyone gets mad.
One of those was the sub?
It said the monster was a substitute.
Hey...the “educator” did what she did “for the children “.
Funny that more people get upset if a teacher tells kids that Santa doesnt exist, than if a teacher tells them that God doesnt exist.
Since she into truth telling, next thing you know she will tell them Democrats are really Socialists.
One of my grandsons, when he was about 5,was told by a friend that there was no Santa, that his parents were REALLY Santa.
He then said to his mother,” I knew he was wrong because you and Daddy would never leave us alone all night and go out and deliver gifts to children all over the world.”
Problem solved——and a true story.
