Finally using the perfect mouse trap!

Finally using the perfect mouse trap!

It is big news up our way that the mice and other rodent population is out of control.

It has been horrendous.

I have been using snap traps, glue traps, two cats, de-con.....

Never enough.

Finally the day before yesterday I set up the perfect trap using this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FTQ6SM1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought a couple and two 5 gallon buckets.

I installed them on the buckets, filled the buckets about 1/3 full of water, smeared peanut butter on the roller, and laid three pieces of firewoord with dabs of peanut butter on them against the bucket. Like little peanut butter dabbed ladders to the motherlode.

Have caught 5 in the garage in two days and 3 in the basement today.

Just carry them outside and toss them into the snow bank by the bushes. add more water and re-set.

The Mouse Murders Continue!!

Me too. but I dont see them any where. I would love to have one, the one about eating their little feet.

I don't see the specific "Mousie" Kliban mug, but there is a pretty good selection of Kliban mugs on Etsy.com for $10 to $20 including this rather humorous seasonal mug...

I love it

Wow

I dont have rats but imagine one would need to use a metal trash can and lots of water to catch them.

The cats get the ones that make it inside. Outside, I’ve seen a couple of the local ravens pick off mice in the driveway and field. Amazing birds.

Glue traps work pretty well. When I catch one I simply pump my crossman pellet pistol two pumps. That is all it takes to kill them,

Cats vary tremendously in their hunting skills. A good one is really valuable. The best ones I have had were Momma cats.

Why did you post this in the news forum?
Why wasn’t this placed in chat?

Please, let them drown. What in the world is wrong with you. Do you like doing the same thing over and over again? Surely, you know what that is a sign of.

of course I let them drown, I empty out their little cold dead bodies out into the snow bank to freeze into mouse-icles for the wildlife population

The machine turns 0 into 02

Turns O2 into O3. The extra O easily breaks off and you are back to O2. The extra O is usually attached to something you don't want, like CO, turning it into harmless CO2. But that extra O can stick to things you do want, like the lipids coating the inside of your lungs. Those get oxidized and that causes irritation, vascular constriction in the small blood vessels there, etc.

Lol, hey, you’re right. I should carry some with me to sprinkle a little on the head of every lib I meet!

Right about the children and pets warning, too, thank you. I’ve been reading about that since you mentioned it. Fortunately, I’ve never had a serious roach infestation, so I only use very small amounts very infrequently (maybe once every five to ten years), a few teaspoons at a time, injected as deeply as possible into cracks and crevices of our house, well out of reach of our pets. No children to worry about.

I saw one video on youtube where some nutty landlord spread it all over the floor of one of the apartments he rented out. I mean, he was practically wading in it! Crazy. I wouldn’t want to inhale gobs of dry boric acid, that’s for sure. It might dry out your lungs, lol, just what you don’t need! So, yes, be careful with it, folks. Read all you can about it, follow the directions and use common sense. Cheers!

A local extermination company spraying inside and out-quarterly, worked well for me. Nothing freaks me out more than roaches.
