The CBS reboot of Murphy Brown featured a storyline where one of the show’s reporters is beaten and put in the hospital after attending a Donald Trump rally. In the episode, character Frank Fontana (Joe Regalbuto) is sent to a Trump rally to report live on the event. During the event the faux Trump singles out “fibbing Frank Fontana” and the crowd boos him, Entertainment Weekly reports.
After the live shot, Murphy Brown (Candice Bergen) and her crew find out that Frank was attacked and seriously injured at the rally by Trump fans.

Actually, I canceled this show myself after watching about 5 minutes of it decades ago. It was always garbage.
I understand we can't boycott everyone who supports leftist causes, but if we boycott where we can, we might be able to hit them hard enough in the wallet to make a difference.
This has been going on a long time. AIn the late '60's and early '70's, there was plenty of violence on college campuses, and all of it was perpetrated by leftists. Nevertheless, around 1970, I saw a TV program--I think it was "Mod Squad"--in which a conservative student was found to be the perpetrator of a series of bombings on a college campus.
That show looks to be about as interesting as a fly on a dog turd.
