Nothing surprising about it.
Back in the day when practically everybody had large families, it was apparently not uncommon for younger children to have unusual names, they just ran out of old family names for their children. My dad used to laugh about a cousin of his, P. C. Booth. He’d fight you if you called him by his full name, so of course all the other boys teased him mercilessly. His name was Physics Columbus Booth. Just pulled out an encyclopedia from the sound of it. At least it didn’t make him seem stupid, lol.
Well, mom, this is what happens when you curse your child at birth with a ridiculous name.
Seven of Nine does not see the humor in your comment.
The jokes write themselves.
.ah yes, the old page trick...
abc7.com is her cousin... third base!
Queue the Hot vs. Crazy matrix.
Some paperwork that came across my desk at work had a “Richard Head.” If his parents did that on purpose, they are cruel. If it just didn’t occur to them, they are dumb. And I can’t believe the guy didn’t change his name. I can only imagine how he must’ve been made fun of in school.
My mother worked in a City Hall.
A grandmother came in for a birth certificate for her granddaughter,Femmily.
My mother asked her to spell it.
She did.

But they allowed this one in Norway...:^)
And in the UK many middle manes are allowed. Must really screw up some data bases -
Name is stupid.
Pasengers are required to give legal names to the employees.
The employees should NOT be allowed to post information forced from passengers onto their social media.
I think she should find something conventional. I just don’t think you plants seeds in a five year old’s mind like that. IMO < that doesn’t reveal much maturity.
So as an adult you’d play high stakes with a five year old?
Nah, I don’t believe that.
I’m sorry. I don’t understand. What do you mean by “play high stakes”?
The kid can’t do anything about his name except feel uncomfortable. You really want to make fun of a 5 year old child’s name in front of him? That would lead to self-esteme issues and the like. You really want to go there as a adult?
“I agree, but its inexcusable and mean for the gate agent to do that.”
Every single person that reads that girls name in her entire life will be laughing at it. Just because most will laugh on the inside is not reason to overact if some do it on the outside.

Yeah, I do.
What if the brain-dead mother decided that her little girl should really be a boy and paraded her around as a boy? Would you say “oh, well you can’t refer to her as a girl, because, after all, it’s not HER fault she’s wearing boy’s clothes”?
It’s her idiot mother’s fault that she’s going to go through life being mocked for her name - not mine for mocking her, nor am I going to change my view of right / wrong or NOT react the way any sane person SHOULD react because of this mother’s stupid behavior. She gave her kid that name - let them both live with the consequences of it.
