As it turns out, their original consensus was correct. A new mini ice age is indeed upon us.

I really don’t see that, Windy. It’s warmer now than it was in the 1700s and cooler than it was during the Medieval warming period. Rather moderate for an inter-glacial period.

Since inter-glacial periods have averaged 10k-15k years and this one started approx. 11k-12k years ago we’re definitely approaching the zero hour for the next glacial period though.
