Reducing the size of the 21-member Senate Judiciary Committee is reportedly among the actions being considered by Senate Republicans as they prepare for the next Congress.
If that happens, Sen. Kamala Harris of California -- a high-profile Democrat who is considered a possible candidate for her partys 2020 presidential nomination -- could be left off the panel, according to a report.

Karma is a b-word.
Feinswine should be expelled from the committee, too.

I wish so. But the Dems are stuck with her. Black, female...they dont have the balls to cut her loose. I’d say Booker will be found somewhere else to dis-”serve”.
Just keep reducing the size of they committee until they have to jettison her.

First she gets out-crazied by Spartacus and now this? She needs to seriously step up her game if she wants to run for President.

Birthers made-up definition of Natural Born Citizen will not impede Harris in the slightest should she decide to run.

“Birthers made-up definition of Natural Born Citizen will not impede Harris in the slightest should she decide to run.”
“made-up definition”???
The Founders who wrote the Constitution were the original birthers, and they defined the term “natural born citizen” directly in the Naturalization Act of 1790 as one who is born from citizen parents.
That is what the history professor taught us in college, but that was before it became racist to accept that.

Willie Brown will be outraged! He was looking forward to those late night, secret, meetings in the White House...meetings where he’d be able to slip out of his $5,000 suit.

"They defined the term natural born citizen directly in the Naturalization Act of 1790 as one who is born from citizen parents."
That original legislation also limited it to only white people and it has since been repealed by further immigration laws within the founders lifetimes. There are some good things in that act, however it should really not be used as a basis for our modern day immigration.
I think if you took the totality of the laws passed during the founders lifetimes, we could agree that they believed that citizenship is dependent on the parent's citizenship and not on where the child is born.

Is this a Lindsey Graham or Chuck Grassley idea?
If Graham then very interesting!

If you want to win back the female suburban voters you lost in the mid-terms then what better way to do it than take steps designed to remove a woman from the Senate Judiciary Committee?
