invalid claim! Compare population of the US and number of registered voters in Nixon’s day to the population of the US today. Number of registered voters will certainly have increased enormously throwing comparison cited in article nul and void..
1970 Census 203,392,031
2010 Census 308,745,538
Today 325.71 Million
And the democrats are still voting in that election.
Only because about 40 Republicans retired at the same time.
................
Led by the likes of Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake and numerous RINO anti-Trump buffoons. Changes need to be made in state Republican parties that are far too complacent toward the Democrats.
This smoke and mirrors. Votes are not directly proportional to seats in congress. Voter dense democrap enclaves are still one seat just like Montana or North Dakota.

In 2010, Republicans flipped 63 seats.

Don’t give up.
Hillary won the popular vote in 2016 too. So what?
We just had the Greatest instance of Vote fraud in the history of the USA.
Provisional ballots of illegals. This may be the most accurate counting yet of illegal aliens.
We either have a lot of stupid people who want socialism or we have massive vote fraud. Silly me. It’s both. We’re screwed as a nation if we don’t fix the latter, but we need to change the former as well.
Voted twice?
There is something much worse that needs to be kept in mind.
Some of us (make that most on FR) were hoping for a Red Wave that would validate Donald Trumps divine election win. We would add enough GOP muscle to shut down the endless Trump bashing from the left and the MAGA Train would pick up speed.
No so. In fact, the fuse was just lit on the powder keg we all fear.
Voter turnout was huge for the midterm election, but it wasnt a Republican tsunami. In fact, the ginormous turnout of both parties means the 2020 election will be a free-for-all. I fear Trumps election was a one-off and well never see another Republican president in our lifetimes.
Think about it. The socialist smell emanating from the DNC lineup didnt cause widespread nausea among the voters. That means they either support or dont dislike a communist (or commie-lite) government. That is very bad.
The Dems will go hammer-and-tongs against the Second Amendment. Im terrified over what would happen if a Repeal the Second drive ever got started, and I get cold chills over how such an amendment would fare in the land of snowflakes.
Immigration, free stuff, government health care, you name the nightmare and the Dems want to ram it down your throat. We sat on our hands while the left took over our schools and now we get to see what they built for us.
Donald Trump may be remembered as the man who started the Second American Revolution and saved the country. Or he might be remembered as a just bandaid, a man who gave us a few final months to finish getting our preps in place before the balloon goes up.

I think we brought out the base just fine. It were the "Anybody but Hillary" voters that we lost. They were a significant part of Trump's victory.
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponents Argument
Contrast the following prediction for 2018 midterm elections with analysis of the results of the election.
First, consider prediction of tsunami of Democratic election fraud for 2018 elections.
Researcher claims a TSUNAMI of voter fraud coming in 2018 midterms
On the other hand, consider post-election analysis which indicates major problems for Democrats for 2020 elections.
So even George Soros is having major problems stopping the Trump Train.
Note that if Pres. Trump enforced the 12th Amendment and Section 2 of the 14th Amendment that his border wall probably wouldn't be as urgent. The 12th Amendment indicates that state winner-take-all laws for presidential elections are unconstitutional, while Sec. 2 of the 14th Amendment indicates that only citizens can vote in federal elections.
"Excerpted from the 12th Amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice- President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate [emphasis added]; "
14th Amendment, Section 2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens [emphasis added] twenty-one years of age in such State."
G-d there must be a lot of weak and stupid white Americans.
I’d be interested to know what the differential would have been if you take out the non-contested elections. My guess is that there were a lot of Dems that ran unopposed or against token opposition. Pug-ugly won her seat 256K to 39K, and my own small district east of SF went to the Demorat 186K to 66K.
This is similar to “Hillary won the popular vote”... unless you take Caliph-phony-a out of the equation!
