Gowdy needs to get after Ivanka to exonerate her and to defuse the democrat bomb throwing that Hillary Rotten can’t be prosecuted when Ivanka was never investigated “for doing the same thing”.
Well, it’s NOT the same thing, not even close. Regarding Ivanka’s personal email:
* She did not create a private server in her house or office
* There was never classified information transmitted
* The account was never transferred or housed at Trump Organization
* No emails were ever deleted
* The emails have been retained in the official account in conformity with records preservation laws and rules
* Used her personal email during the presidential transition phase when WH email accounts were new and she had not been briefed on WH email usage
So Trey will bring all that out, will determine Ivanka did nothing wrong, exonerate her and all other WH staffers in the same situation, then release a statement that Hillary Rotten’s email usage is of a different character altogether.
Because we know Rotten will be cackling about why she’s such a victim when Ivanka was also doing it.
So Ivanka will need to be on the hot seat for a spell so that Rotten can’t divert serious attention in that direction.
Gotta wonder. What is Gowdy planning to do? I think Gowdy has too much faith in the DOJ though. We all have our blind spots.
Hillary was doing it to hide her billions of treasonous pay-to-play and zipping all kinds of classified stuff over it, then she lied about it, refused to hand it over, etc., etc.
We have absolutely no evidence of any of that from Ivanka. What she did, as I understand it, was illegal, but something at that cabinet-level and other highly placed types (Colin Powell, James Comey, Barak Obama and much of his cabinet, etc.) have reportedly been getting away with for years and years now.
It was very stupid of her to do, but there is no reason to enforce the law against her and none of the others. Or to investigate it without investigating the others.
However, the law needs to be enforced — evenly. If they do go after the last admin for it, then Ivanka probably should be liable for whatever the punishment. I’m not sure what that is. Often stuff is made technically illegal but not enforced with any kind of teeth.
This is a mess that will probably lead to Trump backing off enforcement of it against the last admin, so as to keep his daughter out of jeopardy.
Ivanka and Jared should never have gone to DC.
This appears to me to be another wadded-up tin foil ball Trump is tossing onto the ground for the LSM to chase. Ivanka’s emails are brought up NOW allowing an avenue for Team45 to bash HRC’s clearly illegal (read evil) actions with her email.

No it was not and Foreign Countries accessed it. And CIA Agents died.
Was Ivanka’s email secure - I don’t know, but I’ll bet it was. And no one died.
