The Rolling Stones, who have toured every year since 2012 and whose principals are all in their 70s, have announced a North American tour for next year that launches April 20 in Florida and wrap in Chicago on June 21. The initial announcement includes 13 dates, however there are several days between each tour date so additional shows seem likely, even with the Stones average of 3-4 days between shows. The dates were first announced by Rolling Stone.

Some songs have been overplayed on rock radio for years (Angie and Beast of Burden especially) but the longevity of the musicians' careers is stunning. and while I am not a huge fan of the Stones, it is superior to much of what passes as music today. Anyone have any memories from past tours? A lighthearted topic in the midst of reality.

What you say is true but I still think they should call it the “Walking Dead Tour”

I remember a Science Fiction book, where the protagonist decides to listen to some Classical music in his spaceship.... you know, Bach, Beethoven, Jagger.....

I saw them last time they were in Buffalo - I got a free ticket (thankfully, because it was a $495 seat. 20 rows up on the sideline 25 yard line- great seats)
I don’t think anyone in the stadium (including nearly 60 year-old me) sat down once for 3 hours straight. It was the best show ever.

How Keith is still alive is beyond comprehension. The man has done every drug known to man, drank like a fish and smokes god knows how many cigarettes. And he is still drinking smoking and smoking pot. Unreal.

There was a time they had Mick Taylor in the line up.
Another time they whooed Rory Gallagher.
It would have crashed, 3 headliners... Kablammo!
